Privacy policy.
What we collect, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and how to reach us about it.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by PivotAI (ABN 54 323 951 101), Level 12, 350 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean PivotAI.
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and when you contact us. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as a matter of good practice.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you send a project brief from the contact page, we collect your name, email address, company name if you provide it, the service you are interested in, and your message. If you email or call us, we collect what you tell us and the contact details you use.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this to deliver the site and keep it secure.
What we do not collect. This website does not use analytics scripts, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you do not include it in your brief.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss the work you have asked about.
- To prepare a proposal and provide services if you engage us.
- To keep business records and meet our legal obligations.
- To operate, secure and maintain this website.
We do not sell personal information. We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry. If we ever send marketing email, it will be with your consent and every message will include a way to unsubscribe.
4. Storage in your browser
If you use the motion switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s session storage so it carries between pages. It stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab. If your brief cannot be sent from the page, the page prepares it in your browser for you to copy, save or email yourself; in that case nothing is sent to us by the page.
5. Service providers and overseas disclosure
We use service providers to run this website and our business. They handle personal information on our behalf, only as needed to provide their service:
- Vercel hosts this website and runs the function that receives your brief.
- Resend delivers your brief to our inbox by email.
- Google Workspace provides our email and business documents.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site, which means your browser requests them from Google when a page loads.
These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Apart from these providers, we disclose personal information only with your consent or where the law requires or permits it.
6. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our dealings with you, and then delete or de-identify them unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your enquiry. Email info@pivotai.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our services change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
